Texas Armed Forces Historical Society is a non-profit, (501-c3), founded in 2006. The purpose of the Society is to organize and support "living history" events that enable Americans to learn more about their heritage & other countries heritage through direct participation. The Society includes aviation-related events such as air shows, historical reunions, and joint museum related displays.

TAFHS will be starting Chapter II at Lebanon Municipal Airport soon. The Chapter will be headed up by Andy Anderson and will be maintaining the strikemaster along with other aircraft to be named later.

The Society depends solely upon private funding-receiving donations from individual members, as well as the people who visit the aircraft in each city and town.
